Mudpie Sunday Productions
We're as serious about performance and the art of play as you are.
Who we are
A live sound, recording and audio consulting company that specializes in pleasing even the most particular performers and artists by clearly representing the original audio, understanding the creative intent of a piece, and proactively taking steps to support and enhance the artistic efficacy of any and every performance. We help artists increase performance quality, ticket sales, CD/DVD sales, and repeat business.
What's in a name
Mudpie Sunday Productions’ name and organizational philosophy stems from our proprietor, Adrianne’s childhood, when she and her friend David would spend all-too-fleeting late Sunday evenings in David's backyard making mudpies and digging to China. With a limited amount of resources, they utilized their imaginations to create fun and entertainment, which is the ultimate aim of our firm’s production services. Our mission is to combine youthful optimism and creativity with informed professionalism. We pride ourselves on creatively utilizing resources to make the best of any performance or event. We distinguish ourselves by knowing and caring for each performance as much as its performers.
What we can do for you
Live sound reinforcement, remote recording, tracking, mixing, editing, sound design, voice over, audio workshops, system design, audio consulting, artist brand management (including web design, social media marketing, and performance coaching), event planning....
Gear is only as good as the artist using it
People like to know what kind of gear we use. There are a lot of people in this industry that have amazing gear but they don't know how or when to use it. Certainly there are also a lot of amazing engineers that are incredibly thoughtful and have amazing craft. I hope for your sake you get to work with these people often - we do. Please know that If there's a piece of gear needed to carry out your project, we'll get our hands on it. Let's not talk about gear, let's talk about your art and your event and if we can help you we'll let you know how we plan to do it. If we're not able to help you, we'll help you find someone that can. We think that It is important to have great functional gear, but a great engineer can be musical using almost any piece of gear. People don't head out to shows or buy albums to listen to gear. The want to hear you.
